NBSR – No Bull-Shit Review.
Reviews that are short, sweet and to the point.
For those yearning to experience a day in the life of a car engineer, without having to actually get their hands dirty, Car Mechanic Simulator has pulled in just in time for you! Car Mechanic Simulator enables you to build the foundations and expand your mechanic empire, with the dream of making it big.
You start the game off with a very simple, basic garage in which you will use as the foundations of your business. In order to get more challenging jobs and build a reputation to solidify your place within the industry, you’ll start off with simplistic jobs that help introduce you to the mechanics of the game. In time, this will help prepare you for the expansion of your business and the abundance of jobs that will begin to come your way as your empire grows.
As time goes on, the money earned from your hard work can be used to purchase cars at an auction, which allows you to challenge yourself further and grab yourself some interesting cars to work on. Which can lead to quite a satisfying conclusion, as it can be quite rewarding when you take in a car that has seen better days and in time restore it back to its glory days, or even better. Not only that, but you can either put them on display in your parking lot or you can sell them to earn yourself more money to then continue expanding the business and bringing in more projects to work on. The game has an infinite number of randomly generated missions, with a variety of different objectives, criteria, time constraints and much more to keep things moving and provide an adequate challenge to those who wish to get the very most out of this game.
As are all simulator games, Car Mechanic is obviously aimed at Car fanatics, and they will find that there is a plethora of content in the game to keep them occupied and give them an insight as to what the day to day life of a Car Mechanic can be like. Initially, the game may be difficult to get into for some, due to the lack of preparation the tutorial section gives you in regards to what the game will throw your way down the line. Although if you are accustomed to these types of games then you’ll likely pick it up easier than those who are new to the scene. I wouldn’t let that deter you though, as with time you’ll pick things up be able to navigate the game with minimal effort, making quick work of objectives that once posed a challenge before.

I cannot say that Car Mechanic simulator is for everyone, but I feel that goes without saying, as is the case with all simulation games. If you live for the simulation thrills and want to get a little taste as to what the life of a Car Mechanic is like, then I couldn’t recommend this game enough. Although as I previously touched on, you need to take your time, ease into it and learn how to play the game well in order to get the most out of it.
